MomSkwela is a project initiated by a group of graduates from the University of Asia & the Pacific’s Family Life and Education course. MomSkwela envisions to support mothers and teachers in discovering and experiencing the joy and fulfillment in fostering a happy and solid family life. Our purpose is to unify the collaborative components of empowerment of family, community, and learning environment through education, skills development and values formation through interactive talks, individual and group dynamics, and personal mentoring. 

The MomSkwela program was initially launched in partnership with the Department of Education on February 26, 2022, covering public schools in 16 divisions in the National Capital Region. It will continue to form partnerships with other educational and corporate institutions in pursuit of its goal to achieve its vision, widen its reach and attain sustainability.
